Thanks! This is a very interesting community to be involved with. I see that you use the same camera as I do - the Olympus 5050. I am still struggling to understand how a digital camera works compared to film. I tried to shoot a bicycle race a few weeks ago and found that my subjects had moved out of frame by the time the camera reacted.
May I ask you for advice once in a while?

sure u may...but, i'm also a novice in using it :) ...i've not really tried 'live' shots...but i think there is an option in the camera to take consecutive shots...perhaps, u cld try that first... and the camera might take time to react due to the 'auto focus' setting...it is sometimes irritating cos by the time the camera tries to focus, the subject disappears...try using the manual shot, though i've not experimented with it...

actually i'm glad that i found another person with the same camera!
